Diploma in Social Responsibility

Diploma Programme

 

The Diploma in Social Responsibility is a diploma programme designed to provide students with extensive academic training in various areas of social responsibility. The program aims to prepare students for a pro-active and effective participation in the society as catalysts for nation-building.

 

The Diploma Programme learning objectives are as follows:

 

  • Acquire extensive knowledge and understanding on Social Responsibility and its sub-topics

  • Involve the student towards the community

  • Engage the student in various volunteer works

  • Develop active participation to solve problems in the society

  • Develop commitment to nation-building and social change

  • Enhance personal, interpersonal and spiritual development through a better understanding of service to humanity and society

 

Topics will involve:

 

  • Philanthropy

  • Sustainability

  • Volunteerism

  • Ethics

  • Environmental issues

  • Commitment (Practicing What You Preach)

  • CSR 1.0

  • CSR 2.0

  • CSR 3.0

 

Students will engage in a deeper understanding of social responsibility through home-stay in partnership with VMX. There will be series of workshops during the duration of the program. The program does not have pre-requisites but is taught at a graduate level.  

 

Program Details:

  • 12 sessions / 6 months

  • Students who complete the Diploma in Social Responsibility will receive:

    • CSR Academy Diploma in Social Responsibility

    • CSR Academy Alumni Certificate
